Ohope Auction

It was mum’s turn today. The sun shone and there was a great turnout with lots of interest in her lovely home at Ohope. 

In the end it was between 2 determined bidders that pushed the price up to more than any of us could have believed or hope for. 

David from Harcourts did an amazing job of supporting Mum through to process of marketing and finding the eventual buyer. 

We went out for a lovely meal to celebrate this evening. 

Mya’s Special Day with Willow

It started with Dinie taking the girls out to Sushi lunch….

And ended with a bath with a view of Lake Rotorua …..

Leaving Day - Macaulay Metals

After a total of 6 1/2 years (in 2 sections) John had his last day with Macaulay Metals. His team of guys are clearly going to miss his strength and leadership within the role, they have all depended on his support and guidance through out the years. 

John received some lovely kiwi gifts to remind us of New Zealand when we’re back and settled in the UK. 

Ata and Debbie have worked and supported John within the office. They were both very teary saying goodbye today. 

Arts Village Holiday Programme

Mya has had a fabulous week these school holidays tapping into her creative site, from tie dying, to mask making and then today designing a poster for a new music band.

It’s been a busy weekend with delivering and having items collected that we are getting rid of. 

Feeling like we have achieved a lot. 

Happy Birthday Roger!

We spent the evening at our neighbours on Friday. A lovely evening celebrating Roger’s birthday. Dinie’s food was delicious as usual. We’re going to miss them next door.
