A Relaxing Last Day

And finally some better weather.  The wind dropped and it was a few degrees warmer.  We actually sat by the pool and soaked up some sun. 

I treated Mya to a facial at the hotel spa which she loved. 

This evening we had a beautiful walk down past the port in the warmth, lots of people out and about. 

Traditional dinner of Sangria and Paella and Icecream to finish. 

So nice to experience Pollenca on a warm spring evening, completely idyllic. 

It should be noted that I have struggled this whole holiday with a stinking cold, Mya has been so caring and we have tried to make the best of it.   

Pollenca Old Town

We headed out this afternoon to Pollenca Old Town and walked the 365 steps (1 step for each day of the year) up to the church Oratori Del Calvary. It was so stunning with beautiful villas lining the steps and the view from the top was breathtaking.

We then walked back down to the main central square and enjoyed pizzas in the sun. 

A Easy Stroll along the Port of Pollenca

The sun was again shining but a strong wind as we walked the waterfront down past the port of Pollenca. 

Stopping for a snack to watch the world pass by and allowing us to enjoy some sun in a more sheltered spot. 

Alcudia Medieval Town

The sun was shining for us as we spent the day wandering in the streets of Alcudia. 

Arrived in Pollenca Mallorca

Mya and I have taken a quick break to Spain. Staying in EU Bahia Hotel Pollenca. 

After checking into the hotel, we walk out along the waters edge to Casa Marques, near Port of Pollenca and had a delicious meal. 

The weather here is warm but extremely windy. We were blown back to the hotel. 

Another Glowing Report Card

 So proud of our gorgeous girl. She works so hard.  

She has also put her options in for her subjects for GCSEs. 

Block 1: 1st Option - PE / 2nd Option - Media Studies

Block 2: 1st Option - Spanish / 2nd Option - Catering

Block 3: 1st Option - Triple Science / 2nd Option - Drama

Sunny Saturday Afternoon

 A walk along the Prom followed by an ice-cream. Perfect.
