The Art Foundation Goodwood

Today John, myself and Purdie took a walk around Goodwoods Art Foundation. It was a nice walk, Purdie seemed to enjoy the art,  but not as many as we thought there would be. Not sure it was worth the money but another local attraction visited. 

Red Roses versus Black Ferns

Thank you Twickenham, fabulous day. 

As soon as we stood for the NZ anthem we knew who we were supporting.  Such an exciting game. From the first kiwi try that was disallowed then both teams holding their own throughout. Final score to the Roses with the last try literally on the whistle, 26-19. 

So much support with stadium filled with 58,871 people. 

Happy 80th Birthday Mum

A lovely lunch out at the Ivy for Mum and I.  Delicious food.

Followed by cake and presents at home with the family.

 

Made Mya some lounge pants this week

She loves Avengers and Spider-Man.

Thank you Doreen and Dennis Stevens for allowing Purdie and I to rest a while and enjoy the sea air today at your bench. It's important to take time to sit in peace and just be. ❤️

Quick sewing transformation

Saw this on YouTube. I bought a £2 shirt from charity, took the collar off, cut a strip from the length of shirt and used it to make a ruffle collar, re-hem the bottom and hey presto! Love it! 

And a Spider-Man hair scrunchy for Mya! ❤️

Hickstead Again!

Dragged John and Mya to Hickstead today.  Its really very close to where we live so no excuse to go an watch some more showjumping. 

Much more exciting today as they were in the main international arena. 

Mya's friends came with their mum so she was happy and occupied.  

A fabulous day had by all, even John enjoyed it!
