Bonjour from France

A very early start this morning, catching the 5.30 ferry from Newhaven. 

We then had a relaxed 4 hour drive through the beautiful French  countryside down to Orleans. We're staying at the Novotel Hotel for 2 nights. 

Pizza and pasta dinner tonight at a local restaurant. 

A good start to our 2 weeks away.

Summer Produce

 Tomatoes are ripening nicely and Runner Beans are just starting to produce.

Making the most of the weather to have a few BBQ's.  Beef and Cheese pinwheels tonight, very tasty.

Quiz Night

What a fun night. We must be the dream team, somehow managing second place and a £60 win!

Sports Day

Mya competed in a lot of events this year:

100m / Relay / High Jump / Tug of War

She did really well and looking forward to being part of the PE Group for her GCSEs.

 

Special Evening with the Girls

How lucky are we to be able to spend time with friends that we grew up with at school and into adult life. 

50 years on from when we all started school together. 

A beautiful evening at the Victorian Inn at West Marden. 

Awards Day at School

Super proud of our daughter.  She always works so hard and today she was rewarded for this.  It's nice to see that they take note of her dedication and caring nature.
