A lovely lunch out at the Ivy for Mum and I.  Delicious food.

Followed by cake and presents at home with the family.

Quick sewing transformation

Saw this on YouTube. I bought a £2 shirt from charity, took the collar off, cut a strip from the length of shirt and used it to make a ruffle collar, re-hem the bottom and hey presto! Love it! 

And a Spider-Man hair scrunchy for Mya! ❤️

Hickstead Again!

Dragged John and Mya to Hickstead today.  Its really very close to where we live so no excuse to go an watch some more showjumping. 

Much more exciting today as they were in the main international arena. 

Mya's friends came with their mum so she was happy and occupied.  

A fabulous day had by all, even John enjoyed it!

Next Sewing Project

At one point I did think I’d been a bit ambitious with this sew.  But with a lot of brain strain and help from some Youtube videos I managed to work my way through it. 

My completed puff sleeved shirt. Very pleased with how it’s turned out. Think I’ll wear it to work on Monday. 

New Term, New Year - Welcome to Year 10!
