Today’s visit on a very hot 36 degree day. 35 minutes drive through vineyards was the Chateau.
First built in the late 12th century with more than 10 different families that have lived here. In 1576 the future king of France (Henri of Navarre) dined here. In recent years the castle had 22 years of vandalism and looters before the Guyot family bought the Chateau in 2011 and brought it back to life.
Mya hit the knight on her first shot! Balancing on ropes just like they do in New Zealand. We got to try the madeleines, delicious.
Another postcard but this time written with a Quill!
