Mya and I went for a bike ride along the lake front and then Mya had a story time with all her classmates over Zoom where they all had their teddies and a snack! 

Start the Week with a Disaster

 Heard the downstairs bathroom fan running this morning so went to check and discovered water pouring out of all the electrics in the ceiling and blistering the paintwork down the walls! This is our newly renovated bathroom that looked beautiful. 

John has to pull down the ceiling and into the wall to work out where the leak was. It was a burst hot water pipe. Thank heavens for a clever husband that could repair it. Now to start all over again with the repairs and decoration. 

Monday’s Schooling

Mya wrote a great story with picture .....

and then had a zoom conference with her teacher and two of her friends. 

Weekend Work

John has been hard at work building a new donkey shelter at the top of the land. 

Including a gutter with water collection. 

We also started to burn some of debris covering the paddocks from the last tree that came down.

Low Point

Poor Mya is struggling with not seeing and playing with her friends. Video calls help but sometimes the emotions just build up. 

She is so good at putting her emotions down in art form. This picture says it all.
