John and I had a good evening helping to celebrate Richard and Leah’s wedding at the Hayling Island Sailing Club. 

Gave me a chance to catch up with my bestie and family. Including my gorgeous goddaughter before her travels downunder.

I made some enriched dough today, fruit loaf and apple pinwheels. 

Busy and Productive Day

Firstly a bit of painting for me after John had sanded down under the bay window. 

Then the wood for winter was delivered, so I stacked and moved that. It use to be a regular thing in New Zealand. I felt a bit unfit and out of practise today. Got the job done tho.

Young Driver - Lesson No. 2

Thanks to Gaga for the birthday present, Mya had her second driving lesson. This time at Rushmoor Arena near Farnborough. 

The instructor thought Mya was 16 and preparing for her driving test. When Mya looked blank when he asked her to put it in gear and drive he couldn’t believe she was only 12 ! 

She did really well, feeling more confident behind the wheel. 

Hopefully when she does get to 17, she’ll be ready to go on open roads.
