Busy in the Garden

John started the ground work for my birthday greenhouse.

This included building my final raised bed so we could fill it with the soil we removed.

John even managed to start assembling the greenhouse.

Under the watchful eye of Purdie.

Whilst John was busy, I was continuing with edging the flowerbeds with the spare bricks.

Morning Walk and Berry Picking

A lovely walk along the Hayling Billie Trail today.

Picked a great haul of Blackberries and Sloes.

And enjoyed a coffee at the beach cafe.

Rest In Peace, Queen Elizabeth.

A truly dignified & gracious lady. Who dedicated her life to serving her country and Commonwealth with an unwavering sense of duty.  So sad.

Homegrown Dinner for Tonight

The sweetcorn was the juiciest I’ve ever had.

Country Walk - Feeling Like Autumn

Mya’s first day back at school. Purdie and I stopped at Lavant on our way up to Petersfield.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, love all the colours.

So many blackberries on the hedgerow. I couldn’t resist picking a bag.

Will have to make blackberry and Branley apple pie tonight. We have so many apples growing on the tree in the garden.
