Missing Daddy

Mya has really missed her Dad today. 

She drew this amazing picture for him when he got home. 

Muddy Walk

Mya and my first day without John around. He left at 5.45am this morning! 

After a morning at home catching up on paperwork and Mya doing some study, we headed off to Whiteway just on the edge of Arundel to take Purdie for another muddy walk. We found a great swing …..

And perfect climbing tree on the walk…..

As well as some cool natural teepees

Including one for the fairies. 

Sunday Walk

We used our Sussex walk app on my phone to suggest where to go today. 

We ended up at Bramber and did a lovely, if not muddy, walk around Bramber Castle and along the River Arun. 

Bramber Castle, fascinating history dated back as early as 1048! 









Finished off with a lovely roast chicken pub lunch. 

Southwater Country Park

Just north of Rustington we discovered Southwater Country Park. 

We had a lovely walk around the lake and Mya had a play in Dinosaur Island. 

Mya found some ice in a puddle. 

Fresh Beach Walk

After the rain of yesterday, the sun is shining and there’s a frost on the ground. 

Mya and I took Purdie along the beach, just down from the house. 

Historic Rope Walk Littlehampton

We didn’t see any rope but had a nice walk along the River Arun to the beach and back. 

Started over the Red Bridge.

Moving Day

Today we moved to another Airbnb closer to the house we’re buying. 

Big pack up and now settled in Rustington.  

It’s nice to have an open plan layout so I’m not locked away in the kitchen! 

Bought a pretty table cloth to make it feel more like home.
