Beach, Kite and Curry!

Mya’s had a fun packed day.
Up early walking Oli on the beach....

Fabulous kite flying....

Finish the day with a yummy curry...

Ohope for the Holidays

We met Mum at Julian’s Berry Farm for lunch today and passed Mya for her 2 night’s stay at the beach whilst I work.

Mya put together her new kite, all by herself and took it for a fly on the beach.

Chicken Carrier

John helped Mya make a chicken carrier.

Flowerbed Edging

The sun was shining so I decided to sort out the flowerbed with some spare bricks we had.

The chickens weren’t helping very much, digging out the soil I was putting in!

It’s looking much tidier now.

Chickie Love

Poorly Donkey

This time last week we thought we had lost Maybe. She was more than poorly, suffering with colic, pneumonia, massive loss of weight and honestly unlikely to last the night. With the support of friend and equine vet Celia we have been nursing her, medicating her symptoms, blood tests, parafin tubes into her stomach, electrolytes, pain killers, antibiotics, steroids and antihistamines, feeding night and day and today she is looking more her healthy self. Breathing still not 100%, but may never be fully there. Feeling a big sigh of relief.

She a special part of the Backhouse family.
