Annual Dental Check for Mya

Now Mya has lost a few teeth, it’s important to get them checked. 

All looking good. Just need to stay away from the sugar! 

Donkey Hooves

The donkeys’ hooves are not great at the moment so we got Elise the farrier in today to help sort them out. Maybe has a big turn-out of her front hoof and Pepsi has awful seedy toe.  These are problems left over from their past life. They are looking so much better after just 1 session. 

Mya’s Puppet Show

Mya is taking her puppet show to school tomorrow to entertain her class. 

Armistice 100th Centenary 1918 -2018

Today we attended the Armistice Day Ceremony at the Government Gardens. John snd Mya wearing their commemorative poppy pins. 

Our thoughts were also of Michael Backhouse (John’s Father) who passed away this time last year. A very poiniont time of year, the 11th Day of the 11th Month, for a military man. 

Afterwards Mya made a Poppy and a flag which she placed in the public gardens. 

They were also offering free donkey rides. We love our donkeys.
