On Your Bike

As soon as we got home from holiday, Mya couldn't wait to have a go on her bike which she got for her birthday.

Family Ski Holiday

Day 1 - a spot of lunch overlooking Lake Taupo then 'hello Ohakune!' and our accommodation for 3 nights. Mya sleeping in a big girl's bed for the first time, she slept like an angel.





Day 2 - travelling up the mountain to Whakapapa, first introduction to the snow, sledging and hot chocolate!!!! Completely exhausting!!!!!

















































Day 3 - Sledging and skiing at Turoa, fabulous day, sun shining and loads of snow.
























Day 4 - saying goodbye to The Rocky Mountains Chalet, just time for a quick dessert in Taupo before heading home.

Fairy Princess

Mya dressed in some of her birthday present clothes. Think she'd have slept in them if we'd let her!!! ( thanks Sarah and Zena!)

Happy 2nd Birthday Our Gorgeous Angel

A wonderful day for our gorgeous princess. Full of friends, fairy wings, treasure hunts, sugary treats and gifts.


Angel, you are the light of our lives. Such a strong, independent, warm hearted and loving girl, filling our lives with giggles, smiles and light.

New Swing for Mya

We were a bit concerned that the tree supporting Mya's swing wasn't strong enough, so in true John-style she now has one that will support a 5 ton elephant!
