Invasion!

The downside of living so close to the lake is the invasion of trout fly and moths on the summer evenings.  God job we had our windows closed.

Mya painted Queen Elsa today, complete with crown.

Gardening

Mum's Deck

With the help of Lily the Wwoofer, we have pressure washed mum's deck and re-painted it.  Hopefully it will now last for a few more years.

Veggie Patch

Finally managed to get my veggie patch planted, complete with electric fence to keep the chickens off.

Unfortunately, an hour later I went up there, the chickens had got in and destroyed most of my beautiful plants.  Needless to say, they are no longer free range and almost an ingredient in the casserole!
