Next Stage of Bean Harvesting

There is something very beautiful about the Runner bean.  It has been providing me with copious amounts of delicious beans all summer, so many in fact that we’ll be eating them for most of the winter months. And then just like that I’m finding pods that have dried to a pale yellow and giving me these stunning purple beans ready to store and grow next spring, a whole new season. The plant that just keeps giving.
