Wonderful Birthday

I have had a couple of lovely days celebrating my birthday.

Starting it being completely spoilt with a 3 hour top to toe treatment then lunch with Mum and Mya.

Day 2 and Mya and I had a wonderful lunch with Adele and Caelan

And today I've been on a Ciabatta Artisan Bread Making Course, fantastic. Needless to say, we have had yummy fresh bread for lunch and dinner.

Lily's Last Day

To finish off Lily's visit to Rotorua she's had a fun packed day.

Starting with the Canopy Tours,

then a relaxing soak at the Waikiti Thermal pools.

Day was ended with a very yummy steak dinner at Leonardo's Italian Restaurant in Eat Streat and ice cream at Lady Janes.

Waitomo Caves and Kiwi House

We had a lovely Sunday over at Waitomo, seeing the Glow Worms.  

The most wonderful part of the day was when we entered the cathedral part of the cave, with amazing acoustics, the guide asked if anyone wanted to sing and Mya immediately said 'yes' and continued to sing twinkle twinkle little star I front of a whole group of people, amazing. 

Family Day at Ohope

A busy day...fishing on the wharf, Gypsy Fair and beach play.  So much fun.

Welcome Lily

My goddaughter Lily, arrived on Thursday, to stay with us for the week, before returning to the UK.

We managed to get some beach time today at Ohope.
