I’ve had a lovely day. The sun was shining. Morning out with Mum in Chichester being spoilt, then curry dinner this evening where we ate far too much.
I had some very sad looking trainers. I'd tried to wash them to clean them up but didn't seem to work, so decided to dye them.
And now I love them! And have had some lovely comments about them. Recycling is the way to go.
A lovely, but slightly chilly walk around West Dean Gardens today to celebrate Mothers' Day.
A day out with all the team. So many laughs and lots of fun as well as trying on lots of frames. So lucky to work with such a fabulous group of people.
Arrived in London with the sun shining.
Mya had a fabulous day in London on Thursday with the school visiting the Imperial War Museum.
After weeks of rain the sun decided to show its face today. So wonderful to be able to get the cushions out and sit down under the pergola, heaven.
Mya and I off to do the shopping.
Managed to squeeze in a change of hair this morning. Can’t believe how much it’s grown. Pretty short now tho, but I love it.
Following his ankle fusion in mid 2024, John has suffered extreme pain in his foot. Very different from his arthritic pain but still debilitating.
His surgeon felt that the upper part of his ankle bone had not vascularised around the pin and so suggested one pin being removed and a larger one put in.
So today he went into St Richards for another day surgery.
He’s now got a big boot on and 6 weeks signed off work. So hoping this will reduce his pain.
As part of Mya progressing towards her GCSEs and last 2 years of school, she had a career interview this week to introduce her to the world of working and representing herself.
Not surprisingly she conducted herself with maturity and professionalism. So proud of her and who she is becoming.
A breezy but sunny day and dry enough to cut the grass. Makes me feel like Spring might be just around the corner.
Mya has had a great day at Chichester festival Theatre. She was auditioning for ‘Ride or Die’ a production for the National Theatre. We’ll hear if she gets in over the next couple of days, but came away feeling really positive and made lots of new friends.
Mya and I completed the puzzle this evening. 1000 pieces, only took us a couple of days.
