Dog and Partridge for the Night
Yummy dinner…
And great breakfast this morning.
Alton Towers
Not quite the day we planned. We wandered around familiarising ourselves and went on ‘Thirteen’ rollercoaster, pretty scary but not like some of the really extreme ones which we decided to avoid!
A lovely ride on the Skyline gondola, reminded us of New Zealand.
Then queued for Wickerman for 80 minutes! We got to the front of the line and everything ground to a halt as there was an electrical storm. Waited another hour, luckily indoors as it was pouring outside. Eventually got on, crazy fast roller coaster but great fun,
Then all outside rides stopped for the rest of the day due to the weather! We still went on some indoor rides but there were a lot of unhappy people.

Diddly Squat Shop
We then made a visit to the farm shop but the weathers opened and there was a queue building so we took a quick picture and carried on with our journey up to Lichfield.

The Tomatoes are Ripening
The greenhouse is working well. I have a few different varieties.
This one’s my favourite. Looks like a flower. The Fiorentino Heritage tomato.Thursday, July 17, 2025

Year 8 Achievement Assembly
So very proud of Mya, she has worked hard throughout the year, not only in her subjects but also as part of the school community, running the Eco Club and part of the Librarian team.
Highest Achievement in Modern Foreign Languages, Drama and Music and outstanding learning in Textiles.
The biggest achievement is her Gold Pledge Badge. Only a few achieved this and shows Mya’s commitment and dedication to the school and meeting their core values.
