It’s been a long week for all of us. Whilst John and I had an afternoon nap on the sofa, Mya took herself off to the spare bedroom with her toys for a rest. 

 

Summer’s Here, About Time

 

1st School Athletics Day

Results:

Long distance -3rd Place

Javelin - 2nd Place 

Long jump - 3rd Place

Shotput - 2nd Place 

Gumboot throw - 3rd Place 

Hurdles - 3rd Place

Sprint - 3rd Place 

Mya did amazingly well, so proud of our darling girl

Tennis Club

Mya has started Tennis Club every Thursday lunchtime at school. 1st one today and said she loved it.

Wingspan - School Trip

Today Mya’s class had a school trip to Wingspan. 

Wingspan Birds of Prey Trust is the only centre dedicated to the conservation of the New Zealand falcon.

 

Mya was the first to put her arm up to have a falcon on hand.

 

She took her notebook and pen in and drew what she saw. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On the way home Mya wrote what she thought of the trip...

Crafty Night

A fun ladies night making Christmas decorations over a glass of wine.
