Chickens

We had a very heartbreaking weekend when we discovered that Blossom had passed away overnight. Mya was so upset. We held a funeral in the garden and she is now resting next to Titan.

Yesterday, 2 new chicks joined the household. Meet Lottie and Tottie. They’re very cute and chilled out, having started their life as classroom chicks being handled by lots of little hands.

Homeward Bound

It was a very early start. We didn’t want a reason not to get on our flight.

With the new rules of masks to be worn on all public transport.....

We flew via Christchurch.
Very different landscape from the mountains around Queenstown.
