This weekend I helped make soup, 1200 litres of kumara soup!
Half of the Kumara were grown and harvested by the school kids.
Total amount that needed washing, scrubbing, peeling, chopping and then cooking 300kg!
TipTop ice creams donated the containers that we transferred the soup into this morning.
It will then be frozen and over the coming months will be donated to families in need within the Rotorua area.
