Happy New Year!

Started the year getting back to nature at the Lake Okereka Walkway with dear friends Sophie and Alfie.

 

 

 

 

 

We even found New Zealand snow.  Seeds and cotton from a tree!

Breaking the Back of Landscaping

A full and mammoth day of clearing and lowering the ground around the house.  Thanks to friends Rodney and Greg for all their help who gave us their skill, time and muscle power to help us achieve so much.

 

 

 

 

Finished the day off with a soak at the Poly Pools (to ease the aching muscles) and pizza dinner.

 

The Landscaping Around the House Has Begun

John has been getting to grips with the digger. 

 

 

 

 

Collecting Wood

When we got home from the beach, John arrived with a truck load of Gum wood which he had been collecting. That should fill our woodshed girl the winter!
