Bourton on the Water

A beautiful town with the river running through the middle, surrounded by honey coloured traditional Cotswold stone buildings. 

We also visited the miniature model village, also all made out of the traditional stone and replica of the shops in the town. Very cool.

 

Also had a cheeky visit to the local sweet shop!

We had such a good day, especially Purdie. It was amazing how close we could get to all the animals.

Cotswold Break

 For the half term we have escaped to the Cotswolds.  A lovely ‘Owl Cottage’ Airbnb. 

As the weather was a bit gloomy, we gave Purdie a walk round and then settled in for the evening for a cosy tapas dinner.

We stopped in Stow in Wold for a delicious Brunch before settling into the cottage. 

Purdie got very excited to visit the local Pet Shop!

Beautiful Autumnal Morning

Sun shining, clear skies and surrounded by the beautiful colours of Autumn in West Dean Gardens. 

Even Purdie enjoyed a relax whilst I had a coffee. 

Trouble In the Field

I think the day is getting closer when we loose our beautiful field and the deer that visit. 

Fences have appeared today ready to lock us out. 

Inset Day - Girlies Day Out

And then some retail therapy at Primark. 

Home Baking

Yummy..... freshly made crumpets this morning.  I've been wanting to make these for such a long time and eventually had a go today, so happy with how they turned out.

This evening more sushi making, teriyaki chicken, we're all sorted for lunch tomorrow.
