Sewing Projects

Since I’ve started doing some sewing for my friend Bella, I have challenged myself to make some hats from patterns.  This is new to me but today I’m very pleased with my efforts to make a reversible ‘Newsboy’ Cap.

Mya loves it so a new thing for her to wear in the winter.  I've also had a go at a flat cap for John.  I need to adjust the sizing but the cap itself turned out ok.  I've also made a headband for Mya.

A quick walk this morning through the corn field.

Happy Birthday Ava

Mya went to Ava’s party at the weekend, they painted pottery and had lots of fun.

Leavers Service at Chichester Cathedral

Yesterday was another significant step towards secondary school.  Mum and I attended the leavers service at Chichester Cathedral.  Atleast 10 Church of England schools from the local area where represented.

Walberton has been such a wonderful place for Mya to start her journey back in the UK education system, it was lovely to celebrate this next step.

Evening Sparkle

With our outdoor lights now all set up the garden looks very magical at dusk.

Year 6 Residential

Mya is off to Grovesnor House (Kingswood Activity Centre) in Kent for the week.
Lots of naming things and packing over the weekend.

One very excited 10 year old this morning.

Off with her buddies for a week of fun!
