Show Day!

A Tech and Dress rehearsal this morning and then the first show of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang this afternoon. Mya has worked so hard preparing for this. We know she’ll be amazing.

Summer Ready

With a cheap and cheerful sofa set from Tescos, a bit of assembly……we’re now ready for the summer.

Let’s hope it’s a good one.

Sick Puppy

We have had a very worrying 6 days. I didn’t want to post anything until we knew the outcome.
Purdie fell ill last Tuesday night, chronic sickness and passing blood. We raced her to the emergency vet early morning Wednesday and have been dealing with an extremely slow recovery since then.  She has had 24/7 private vet care, nursing her back to health. At one point we definitely thought we might loose her.

Yesterday she started to really improve and eating morsels of food. Since then her appetite has gained and this evening she returned home with a great bag of different pills to take.  She still has a way to go but little positive steps.
We don’t know really what caused it, some extreme gastrointestinal bug. Such a frightening time.

Super Star Swimmer

After a very short time of moving up to Level 6 Swim class, Mya has now been moved up to Level 7.  We’re so proud of her. She makes swimming look so effortless.  This is the last level and then she moves to Squad and Rescue swimming.

Tile Cleaning

A lot of moss had built up on the roof of our bay window so John did a great job clearing it off today.

Looks so much better.

1st BBQ of the Season

At the first chance we get the barbecue out.

I even made the family eat outside, poor Mya put her coat on as it was a little chilly.

Belated Easter Egg Hunt

It was a little late due to being away on holiday, but the Easter Bunny finally visited the garden.

The girls had a fun time.

I love the way they sit down after and sort through their haul.
Mya as organised as ever!

A Day in the New Forest

A lovely spring day spent in the New Forest.
We started with a walk through Jubilee Grove near Lyndhurst.

After lunch in Lyndhurst we then headed to Bucklers Hard and went round the Museum.

We then walked to Beaulieu along the Beaulieu River, a total of 9 miles once we got back to Bucklars Hard.

We had a yummy cream tea in Beaulieu just to give us the energy to head back to the car!
