Freda Frog

Throughout the summer I have spotted a frog under the bushes in the garden. I was concerned with the extreme heat that we had and the number of neighbourhood cats around that Freda (as I’ve named her) would not survive. But yesterday and again today I have seen her in the garden. Her body is at least 2inches long, so a good size. She is my little garden companion. 

Pumpkins

We visited Rogate Pumpkin Patch today. 

Lots of fun attractions and then you can go into the patch and choose your pumpkins. 

Then back home to scoop and carve them out. 

Ready for Halloween. 

Tiegan Turns 21!

Such a wonderful day, being able to be part of my beautiful goddaughter’s 21st birthday celebrations. 

So proud of the lady she has become.

Sign for our Gate

Mya and Lucy have made a sign for our back gate,  they decorated a piece of slate that we found in the garden. Very sweet. 

Greenhouse Almost Complete

Apart from the doors, the greenhouse is up. John has even managed to build me some benches out of old pallets and Mya has painted them up.  How lucky am I.

Apple Tree Pruning

Preparing for autumn, the fruit trees need to be pruned.  

We have had such an amazing supply of Bramley and Golden Delicious apples from our trees, nothing as good as homegrown.
