Roots Gone

Over the course of the last 4 days John has been hacking and chopping and digging away at the roots from the corner bush that we cut down.

Well today he managed to get the final giant one out.

The plan is for this to be a new seating area for us in the garden.

The Science Museum

We managed to have some time at the Science Museum.

Mya loved the Space exhibits, especially after studying it at school.

We enjoyed looking at everyday objects from different decades. Memories bought back for John and I.

We also enjoyed the interactive areas about life and the human body.

Really needed another day to go round the other exhibits!
Headed home again on the train.

London Baby!

We caught the train today from Barnham to London Victoria.  Our first stop was the Tower of London.

Then a yummy lunch at the Slug & Lettuce in St Katherine’s Dock.

A mocktail for Mya.

Then on to Tower Bridge.

We went on the Horrible Histories Thames Boat Tour.

And entertaining and informative trip.

1st Summer in the Garden

I have a lot of plans for the garden but wanted to show how it looks now. Even in the extreme heat the flowers have been beautiful.
