Getting close to Easter so getting the Hot Cross Bun recipe out again. 

Chicken Move

In preparation of having the garage rebuilt we had to relocate the chickens. 

Today John has built them a new run down at the bottom of the paddock. Ironically they are going to be living in the original chook house from when we first moved here 13 years ago. 

The telling sign to see if they are happy in their new abode is if we find eggs in the nesting boxes in the morning.

Happy Valentines Day

Home Show

 It’s the Home Show this weekend. Due to my knee op I couldn’t be part of our NZHL stand. Mya popped in on the girls this morning to show her support. 

School Triathalon

Knee Surgery

Another year another operation on my knee.  Hopefully there will be some improvement this time. 

They even take photos whilst they’re operating on me! You can see the scraping tool removing the debris in my knee joint in the first photo. 

Will be taking it easy for the next week or so. 

Start to the Day

My first day to myself this year. Dropped Mya at the bus and then took Millie for a walk along the lake front. 

A good start to the day. 

New School Year

Big Room 5 girl with teacher Lisa Fell. 

Bag is nearly as big as she is.  Very excited for her first day back.
