Lace Tying

Mya wanted to learn how to tie a bow. John made her a mock shoe out of wood for her to learn. 

By the end of the morning she’d sorted it.....clever girl. 



Autumnal Soup Making

We found chestnuts on our walk yesterday. Mya and I cooked and skinned them today. 

Then Mya helped me make a vegetable and chestnut soup for lunch.  It was yummy. 



Teachers Report

We couldn’t have a normal parents evening, so instead Miss Fields wrote a report on how Mya is getting on.

Mud Bath Chicken

After weeding my flowerbed Dottie the chicken has decided it’s a perfect place for a mud bath.

Mya made a musical instrument for a brownie badge today then cooked a yummy sausage casserole dinner.

Routine

To try and enjoy the lockdown we are adding some routine to our days. 
Some form of exercise (from YouTube), school work study, lego challenge, outdoors play and helping out with home jobs. 

Day 4 and it’s working well.

1st Day of Confinement

Yoga, baking (chocolate and nut squares), art, and spaghetti making, 1st lot of walnut collecting and I managed to do my office work. 


















Covid 19 - We’re ready for you!

Schools now closed, country in lock down from Wednesday. 
We’re all ready for working and home schooling at home. Feel ourselves, comfy and warm with plenty of food in the house. Ready to ride out the storm.

Making the Most of Home Grown Produce

With the world going into lockdown due to the corona virus, it’s time to enjoy the pleasures of home and go back to basics. Today I harvested our carrots from the garden and prepared them ready for use during the coming months. 




The donkeys were happy with all the peelings.
