Sleep Out!
It had to be done. Mya, Millie and I tested out Totie’s beds last night.
Apart from being awake at 5.30, it was a great night.

Meet Totie!
The new member of our family.
Over this last month, certain events have helped us appreciate the importance’s of life more clearly, such as quality family time together and not stressing the small stuff.
With this in mind we have bought Totie to enable us easy trips away to enjoy this beautiful land that we are lucky enough to call home.

Art at the Lake
Mya and I spent a relaxing couple of hours at the lake front today.
Love the picture she painted.

Knee Operation
Today, I’m the injured one after having a knee operation on a torn meniscus on my right leg. Just a day surgery at Soutern Cross Hospital. They removed the tear debris in between my joint.
Have slept lots since I got home.

The good news is that John has had his right arm plaster removed as they have decided that the injury is not a break but a acute damage to the tendon. He had a cortisone injection to help the pain.
Luckily we have Dr Mya to look after us both.

Dad
It was my Dad’s birthday last week. Before Christmas he wasn’t well and had worries, again, that he may not recover.
Dearest Louise popped in on his birthday and took this photo. He’s looking very healthy. Wish we were closer.

Finished Guest Suite
I realised I never posted the ‘finished product’ of our guest suite. We are so pleased with the end result.
Agapanthaus Beauty
Before they go over for the season, I had to try and catch the stunning display of our Agapanthus around the garden.
Mouse Catcher
Mya went out in the garden today with her net. After a short time she came back with a mouse!
It was set free into the garden.

Building a Robot
For one of Mya’s Brownie Badges she had to build a robot.
She painted and built a light tower. Connecting all the circuits to make it work.
Tree Walk by Night
A completely magical experience.
As well as walking on bridges through the canopy of the Redwoods, the fabulous light show like fairies dancing through the branches, owls blinking at us as we walk by, the way lit by beautiful lanterns. Stunning. Hard to show in photos the full beauty.
