Fencing for Donkeys

An area that we have struggled to maintain and the rapid spread of wandering dew on the ground ( which the donkeys seem to love) has pushed us to extend the bottom paddock up to the edge of the drive. John has spent the last days erecting a new fence to open this area up.

Anzac Day Parade

Mya had a night away at the Guiding Hall last night and then got up at 4am for the Anzac Dawn Service. 

Fuelled by MacDonalds breakfast the Pippins group were then part of the Anzac Parade marching up Memorial Drive at the Government Gardens. We were very proud to see our daughter being a part of this service. 

Mya made her own poppy. 

Easter Bunny Breakfast

Pizza and Picnic

End the day making pizzas with friend Sofia then having a picnic in the lounge.

Mya’s Holiday at Ohope

Mya has had a wonderful couple of days staying with Gaga at the beach. 

So much fun: dog walks, scootering, movies, lego play, visits to Maori Trust and delivering Easter eggs to the ladies at a retirement home. 

Mya even came to the rescue at the home when an old lady fell off her chair and Mya ran to get some nurses. 

Awards

Mya came home with 2 awards this week. We’re very proud of her.

Pippins Badges

Mya had her Joining Ceremony at Pippins today and was also awarded 2 badges. She’s very excited to now have badges on her sash. 1 for joining and 1 for the biscuit sales.
