Final Push to Finish the Kitchen

A full-on day today, sanding down the plastering and getting completely covered in dust. The shower cap is the only way to stop the plaster dust getting in my hair and scalp! A great look. 

Then 3 coats of paint. Hard work but the kitchen is finished and looking wonderful. 

Flower Arrangement Activity

School project this morning. Making a flower arrangement in a Gumboot and saucer. 

Date Night

Whilst Mya was playing at school, John and I seized the opportunity for some couple time. 

Just a small meal for a John. 

Delicious meal out, coffee then Robin Hood at the cinema. 

End of Term Fun

Today Mya is having a School Trip to Paradise Valley Wildlife a Park and then having a sleepover at school which includes swimming, cooking marshmallows and stories with all her classmates. 

Tomorrow they are starting the day with an early morning swim followed by a day of flower arranging in a Gumboot and saucer. 

So much excitement.

And for John’s next challenge, I wanted a bent curtain pole that would sit in the shape of our bay window in the lounge. He more than delivered, looks fantastic.
