The Flat and Dad’s First Night
When we weren’t attending Sports Day, we were at the Flat sorting and unpacking, building beds and moving furniture, and then discharging Dad from Emsworth House and getting him settled into the Flat.
Still so much to do, only 2 weeks til we fly, but first hurdle of getting Dad in the Flat has been achieved.

School Sports Day
Mya was Team Red.
29degree sun and we all watched Liss Infant’s Spirts Day.
Mya did amazingly well and even won the final of the Reception Girl’s Sprint.
Overall Team Red won the trophy for the whole competition.

Fort Nelson - Poppy Wave
Our last chance to see the poppy wave before it is taken down this weekend. Extremely beautiful and very emotional experience.
A walk around the fort on a lovely evening. Great to explain some of our local history to Mya.
A stunning view over Portsmouth.
