1st Day of Kindy Completed .... Exhausted!

 

End of Summer Holidays

Missing my little munchkin, 1st day back at kindy, but so nice to have paperwork up-to-date and ironing done.

 

 

Kidz Go Wild in Papamoa

A fabulous, completely free day in the sun at Papamoa, loads of kids activities and an opportunity for Mya to entertain the crowds dancing to the band playing.

Chicken Whisperer

Mya seems to have an afinity with our chickens. Most of our animals tend to run from her as they know they are going to get tormented but strangely the chickens seem relaxed in her company, allowing her to cuddle them and sing to them. She also likes telling them stories. 

 

 

Last morning on the Beach

Breakfast at Louis' and a quick walk at the Harbour, where we saw a seahorse swimming in the water! Before heading back to Rotorua.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ohope Visit

Before Kindy starts again next week, Mya and I grab a chance to have some time down at the beach with Gaga.

Time filled with creative art, beach and water play and eating out. Heading home tomorrow feeling relaxed and refreshed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Experimental Cooking

Mya had a creative afternoon cooking, giving a running commentary whilst she worked. Very cute.

 

Could be a new trend to cook just in your pants!

 

Camping Chair

We are off camping in a couple of weeks. In preparation, Mya has her very own chair.

 

 

 

Block Work Around House

After all the ground levelling we can finally have the block work done around the house.  With 8 men up here today it seems to be going down quickly. Very exciting.

A New Attraction To Rotorua ...... a Cat Cafe!

Can't quite believe that we actually paid to go, but the kids insisted. We sat and drank coffee whilst 11 cats wandered around us, playing and wanting to be stroked.
