Driveway Landscaping

Now that we are staying in our beautiful home, we are making a huge effort to get it really the way we want it.

1st project is to clear and landscape the driveway to make it more manageable.

Christmas has started.....Night out with the Girlies!

Welcome our German Guest - Lilly

On our way back from Tauranga, Mya and I gave a lift to the lovely Lilly, who is visiting New Zealand from German, staying for a year.

We have offered her a room for the next week and for board and lodgings she will work a few hours a day doing jobs for us and then have the rest of the day enjoying Rotorua. This system is called WWOOFing (willing workers on organic farms).

Mya loves her to bits, her new best friend, the bonus is that Lilly is in her second year of studying to be a kindergarten teacher, so is wonderful with Mya.

We had a walk around the spring this evening, just before sunset, great way to end the day.

Clever Girl

Without prompting or any help, Mya wrote her name at the top of her drawing this morning.  The letters are back to front, you can clearly make out the 'm', very proud parents. 

Mummy and Daughter Day

Mya and I have had a lovely day in Tauranga, we were girls that coffee'd, shopped and lunched. As well as a bit of  dressing up and ice cream eating. Fun times, happy memories.

Happy Birthday my amazing husband and beloved Daddy.  

Mya expertly decorated the cake.  She insisted that John was having a pirate party.

The best bit about birthdays is the cake!

In the evening John (wearing one if his birthday shirts!) and I went out for a nice meal then saw the MockingJay Film, a lovely evening.

Spring Fair at Mya's Kindy

It was a lovely day for our Kindy Spring Fair.

I ran the cake stall, the whole day was a great success.

John and I have had an amazing evening in Auckland.  

Started with an extremely yummy Chinese.

Robbie was outstanding, 3rd time of seeing him and he just gets better and better!

We danced the night away.
