The first day of 2016 and we had a lovely day kite flying, biking and walking the doggies. Looking forward to what the rest of the year holds for us.

Open Air Movie Night

Redwoods Treewalk
The Redwoods Treewalk opened yesterday in our local forest, so we went down today to check it out.
With 23 separate platforms linked by rope and plank bridges up to 12 meters into the tree canopy, it's an amazing thing to do. After the initial nerves, Mya soon got the hang of the movement of the bridges and was racing across them, we had trouble catching up.

Saying Goodbye
Lulu will be going home with Santa tonight. As a farewell, Lulu bought Mya a box of goodies: Christmas pijamas, mug, marshmallows, cuddly toy and her favourite film, Inside Out. Countdown til bedtime.

We then went to a trampoline park where Mya bounced for a full hour session even off the high platform into the foam pit, unfortunately we didn't take the camera in.

Ohope Beach with Wonderful Friends
