Baking at Play Group

This week's fun was baking a muffin at Play Group. Mya rolled up her sleeves and got stuck in, literally! Tasting the ingredients at every stage of the process.



Bravely John ate the finished result even after Mya had sucked it a bit, his comment... 'It's a bit chewy!'

Creative Weekend

In between My's naps and staying up late, I've managed to finish my next sewing project; a bean bag for Mya.




She seems pretty comfortable in it.

Childhood Rocking Horse

My beloved rocking horse from my 1st Christmas was in need of some modernisation.


It's now gained a new lease of life with a fluffy mane and padded seat cushion that matches Mya's chair in her nursery.

Happy NZ Mother's Day to Me!

What a lovely first Mother's Day in New Zealand with our precious angel.
Mya spoilt me with a fab musical card, big bouquet of flowers and a lovely selection of bath treats from the Bodyshop.



It was a perfect sunny Autumnal day as we sat outside at the Funky Lizard having yummy lunch and relaxed listening to live music, completely perfect. Xx

Fun at Play Centre

This week at Play Centre the kiddie-winks had a go at collage. Most of the items headed straight for the mouths but managed to create a masterpiece!

A Beach Walk

Before the rain comes in for the weekend, mum, Mya, myself and the dogs spent the morning walking along our closest beach (Newdicks Beach), complete heaven.



We then enjoyed a tasty lunch at a local cafe. It's a hard life!

Missing My Friends
